Is a non-invasive skin procedure using a intense pulse light machine (IPL).
IPL differs from the laser treatments as it offers a non-ablative solution to improving the texture, quality, colour and health of the skin, including broken veins, capillaries, age spots of the skin, hyper-pigmentations, and sun produced freckles.

The photorejuvenation process uses pulses of concentrated light to treat:
• Sun Damage - Wide areas of pigmentation on face, neck, chest, and other areas
• Sunspots - Pigmented lesions, also known as age spots
• Rosacea - General inflammation of the cheeks and face
• Spider Veins | Broken Capillaries - Individual vessels, which can be red, blue, or purple in colour
TREATMENT INFORMATION.
The best results are seen on visible hyper pigmentation (dark spots) as they selectively absorb the Intense Pulses Light (IPL). IPL breaks up the pigmentation, allowing it to be released from the skin. IPL is very different from a laser and in most instances, less powerful and less dangerous that laser light. During the procedure a brief pinching sensation will be felt.
After the treatment, you may feel a diffused stinging, similar to sunburn. In the days that follow the spots will become darker and look like a small graze. It is important that you do not try to pick off the pigmentation, but let it fall off naturally. This will happen after a few weeks, revealing clear skin. IPL makes your skin sensitive to the sunlight. Due to this you should wear SPF 30 after any procedures using the IPL. Sunscreen also minimises the formation of new pigmentation on the skin. Usually 3 treatments are required spaced 4-5 weeks apart for the best results.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) dissolves broken capillaries back into the blood stream without doing any damage to the surrounding outer layers of skin. The wavelength discharged through the pulse of the machine enables the light to reach the targeted capillaries under the skin, whilst also improving the overall appearance of the skin by evening out skin tone and encouraging the production of collagen.
